We’ve lived in our house 7 years this August, and just today, while painting upstairs (just one of my many projects during “staycation”) I noticed this:
All three have cool old doorknobs. And I’m not sure why this is bugging me, but first, why does each door have two different colored knobs? Second, why do two of them have the white facing out and one the tortoiseshell? And third, why does one of them open on the left side of the door instead of the right?
It seems chaos is in the very bones of this old house.
